This project showcases a clean, modern retaining solution designed to maximise both structural performance and visual impact on a sloping residential site. Delivered as a multi-tiered system, the wall creates usable, levelled zones while maintaining a seamless flow throughout the landscape.

Constructed using concrete sleepers, specifically the Kensington Sleeper from the Outback Sleeper range, the wall resembles a refined stacked-stone finish while maintaining the strength of a fully engineered system. Paired with galvanised steel posts, this combination provides long-term durability and reliability, particularly suited to South Australia’s reactive ground conditions.

The tiered design works with the natural fall of the block, allowing for integrated planting zones that soften the structure and enhance the overall landscape outcome. Each level has been carefully set out and constructed to ensure consistency in alignment, finish, and performance. As with all Adelaide Retaining Walls projects, detailed attention has been given to footing design and drainage to ensure the wall performs structurally for years to come.
